‘If you have guts then PM Modi should answer questions in the press conference on Rafale deal’: Pawan Khera
Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera has again attacked the central government over the disturbances in the Rafale jet deal. He has said that the Modi government is the first such government which has made national security a means of filling the pockets of its friends. He said, “France has appointed a judge to investigate the Rafale deal, but even after 24 hours there was no response from the Indian government?”
The Congress spokesperson said that if there is courage, then PM Modi should answer the questions related to the Rafale deal by holding a press conference. He asked why the entire Modi government is silent on the issue of Rafale probe.
Kheda said, “The country which has benefited is being investigated, but the country whose tax money was looted is not being investigated in that country.” He said that the documents related to this deal also show that crores and crores of gifts were given to the middle man in the deal. Khada said, ‘Now it has moved in the direction of open and shut case.’
The Congress leader said, “Rafale is a great fighter ship that’s when the UPA took a step towards it but at the cost of 570 crores, the Modi government increased it to 1670 crores.” He asked, “126 aircraft were to arrive, why did the government reduce the number to 36?”
The Congress spokesperson asked why the government was silent on the demand for a parliamentary committee inquiry into the Rafale deal. He said that there was no point in cleaning Dassault, it was a G2G deal, in which HAL was brought out and a private company was brought in.
