Uttarakhand / Haridwar : BJP will start Village Health Volunteer Campaign: Dr. Chauhan

During the meeting organized at the BJP district office, District President Dr. Jaipal Singh Chouhan informed that in compliance with the guidelines of the Central and State leadership, to provide health services to the infected in COVID-19 infected areas and to protect the infected families from possible infection. For this, village health volunteer campaign is being started from district level to village and ward level. Under which 4 member committees are being formed from district level to mandal, power center, village and ward level. Through which it will be the priority of the committees to make all the families aware of the prevention and safety of infection and to give them various types of health security related information. The Swasthya Samiti, from its level, will collect important medical requirements like thermal scanners, oximeters, home test kits for COVID-19 at the district and divisional level and use them by volunteers when needed. BJP District General Secretary Vikas Tiwari said that senior BJP workers / a doctor / a woman worker will also be compulsorily included in the committees. The health volunteers will act as a bridge between the affected and the surrounding health system in cases of increased infection, creating awareness about immunity-boosting activities and child care. Vaccination of senior citizen citizens will also be done from mobile vaccination van. Volunteers will motivate people for vaccination and will also work in coordination with the health department. The program in-charge of the respective assemblies will complete all the preparations in the divisions of their respective assemblies and inform the district leadership.
