43,733 new COVID-19 cases, over 900 deaths in India in last 24 hours

Amidst the second wave of ‘Coronavirus’ in the country, an increase in new cases of Kovid-19 has been registered today. More than 43 thousand new cases have come on Wednesday, while on Tuesday this figure was at 34,703. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday, 43,733 new cases have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. During this, 930 people have died. The death toll from Corona has increased. This figure was at 553 yesterday. So far, 4,04,211 people have lost their lives due to the virus.
According to the Ministry of Health, 47,240 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours, while so far about 2 crore 98 lakh people (2,97,99,534) in the country have been successful in defeating the deadly virus. For the 55th consecutive day, the number of patients recovering was more than the new cases. Due to the high number of patients recovering, the number of active cases has also decreased. Active cases in India have come down to 4,59,920, which is 1.5 percent of the total cases.
Talking about the recovery rate, it is at 97.18 percent. At the same time, the weekly infection rate is at 2.39 percent while the daily positivity rate is 2.29 percent, which has remained below three percent for 16 consecutive days.
Under the vaccination campaign, a total of 36.13 crore doses of vaccine have been given in the country so far. This includes both the first and second doses. In the last 24 hours, 36,05,998 doses have been given. Talking about testing, it has increased to 42.33 crores.
