The first case of Delta Plus variant of Corona found in India including in many countries of the world has come to the fore in the state. The corona test report of a BTech student who came sometime back in Dineshpur in Udham Singh Nagar district came positive. His sample was also included in five percent of the samples sent under random testing for genome sequencing. On Tuesday night, the genome sequencing of the youth’s sample from Dehradun confirmed the presence of the Delta Plus variant. Since then, there has been a stir in the health department of Udham Singh Nagar district. However, this young man had returned to Lucknow only on June 9. On Wednesday, the Health Department team traced his local address and took samples of the people who came in contact with him. Initially 25 samples have been taken. Till the time of writing the news, the sampling of the health department team was going on. According to the information, the mother of the youth living in Balrampur Hospital premises of Lucknow is a nurse. He is originally from Ballia UP and his father does agriculture there. The young man is doing B.Tech from Lucknow. He also has a house in Dineshpur. Here his grandmother lives. According to family members, the youth had come to Dineshpur from Lucknow on April 29 and had come here in ward number three of his uncle and aunt’s house. After this he went to his grandmother’s house in Buksaura Kalinagar. According to family members, on May 20, the young man had fever. On May 24, the corona test report of the youth came positive. On Tuesday, the Health Department from Dehradun informed the Health Department of the district about getting the Delta Plus variant of Corona in the genome sequencing of the youth’s sample. After this, on Wednesday, the team reached Dineshpur and took samples of 17 people who came in contact with the family of the youth’s uncle and other possible contacts for corona examination. At the same time, the health department team has left for the young man’s grandmother’s house. Here also a large number of sampling preparations are done.
Home isolation was done in grandmother’s house: After the corona positive report of the young man came on 24 May, he was home isolated. The young man was home isolated in his grandmother’s house. After this, on 9 May, he went back to his house in Lucknow. It is being told that he had come on vacation to meet his grandmother and other relatives.
A Containment Zone and a Micro Containment Zone will be made: ACMO Dr. Avinash Khanna told that the young man was also staying in his uncle’s house. There are many other houses in this place as well. So far 17 samples have been taken from here. This area is being made a containment zone. At the same time, the young man’s grandmother’s house is alone. A micro containment zone is being created here.
On May 24, the report of a BTech student who came from Lucknow to Dineshpur came corona positive. In Delhi’s NTDC lab, 5% of the samples are sent for genome sequencing as a random test. A sample of the youth was also sent in this. In the lab test, it has been confirmed that the Delta Plus variant of Corona has been found in the youth. After this, samples of 25 people who came in contact with the youth have been taken for investigation. More samples are being taken now.
