Gold and Silver strong
On Tuesday, the prices of both the precious metals increased at the domestic level as well, amid the rise in both the precious metals abroad. In the MCX futures market, gold rose by Rs 527, or 1.11 percent, to Rs 47,826 per 10 grams. Gold Mini also rose by Rs 503 to Rs 47,807 per 10 grams.
Silver gained Rs 459, or 0.66 per cent, to sell at Rs 70,498 per kg. Silver Mini also rose by Rs 455 and was quoted at Rs 70,563 per kg.
In the international market, spot gold rose by $ 15.90 to reach $ 1,807.65 an ounce today. US gold futures for August also rose by $ 24.30 to $ 1,807.60 an ounce. Silver spot was up by $ 0.15 at $26.62 an ounce.
