The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday demonstrated against the BJP government. The protesters expressed their displeasure over the rising electricity rates and power cuts. AAP workers protested and raised the demand of the state government to stop power cuts and reduce electricity rates. On Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party workers demonstrated against the state government by burning an effigy at Nepali Farm Tirahe. Organization Minister Dinesh Aswal said that a large number of youth became unemployed during the Corona period. But the central and state government did not give any exemption in electricity, water, fees for school children etc. People have to pay huge electricity bills. People are facing a lot of trouble due to continuous power cuts from above. There is no limit on the bill, the bill of poor people is coming more. It is becoming difficult for the common man to pay the electricity bill. AAP’s district media in-charge Dr. Raje Singh Negi said that there is no cut in electricity bills, but power cuts happen daily. The government is not seeing the problems of the common man. The BJP government is only engaged in making the Chief Minister. People have to take expensive electricity in the state which generates electricity. The government doesn’t care about the people. He demanded to reduce the power tariff and stop power cuts. Organization secretaries Dinesh Kuliyal, Vijay Panwar, Sanjay Pokhriyal, Ganesh Bijalvan, Vinayak Giri, Sunil Semwal, Praveen Aswal, Jayendra Tadiyal, Devraj Negi, Jai Prakash Bhatt, Gyan Rawat, Lalmani Raturi, Manoj Bhatt, Gagan Malik, Sunil Kumar were among the protesters. Anil Sharma, Ankit Garola etc. were involved.
