Modi’s new railway minister in action, changed the time of employees, now work will be done in two shifts
Ashwini Vaishnav has swung into action as soon as PM Narendra Modi took over as the new Railway Minister in the cabinet. Ashwini Vaishnav, the new Railway Minister of the Modi government, took charge and as soon as he took office, he first changed the working timings of his office staff. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav ordered the officers and employees in his office to work in two shifts.
According to the order issued from the Railway Minister’s office, the first shift will start at 7 am and end at 4 pm while the second shift will start at 3 pm and end at 12 midnight. According to ADG PR DJ Narayan, Ministry of Railways, this order has been issued only for MR Cell (Ministerial Office) and not for private or railway staff.
ADG PR DJ Narayan of the Ministry of Railways said that the Railway Minister has directed that all the offices and employees in the office of the Minister will work with immediate effect in two shifts i.e. from 7.00 hrs to 4.00 hrs and 3.00 hrs-12.00 hrs. It is written in this order letter that a lot has to be done for the Railways on mission mode and every mitan is valuable here.
After taking charge, the new minister had said that railways is an important part of PM Modi’s vision and he will work to make this vision a reality. He said that the lives of people have to be changed through railways so that common man, farmers and poor get its benefits.
Vaishnav, a former IAS officer, has been appointed Minister of Railways, Minister of Communications and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology. Whereas, before Vaishnav, the Railway Ministry was earlier under Piyush Goyal, who has been given the charge of the Ministries of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles.
