Strong tremors felt in northern Tajikistan
Strong earthquake tremors were felt in the northern part of Tajikistan today. According to the European Mediterranean Earthquake Center (EMSC), the earthquake measured 5.9 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 9.66 km from the earth’s surface, about 170 km south-east of Khujand city. There is no report of damage to property due to the earthquake.
