Uttar Pradesh / Jaunpur : One killed, two injured in land dispute
In the Khetasarai area of Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh, a middle-aged man was killed and two injured in a fight between two brothers over a land dispute last night.
According to the police, Anirudh Prasad (55), a resident of post office ward number three of Khetasarai police station area in the district, was having a dispute with his brother over land. On Monday late night, after a dispute between the two sides, a fight broke out. Anirudh and his sons Ashish (28) and Manish (32) were thrashed by people from the other brother’s side. Due to which all three were seriously injured. The family members informed the police about the incident and took the injured to the local hospital. Where after first aid, all three were referred to the district hospital. Aniruddha Prasad died late night during treatment.
Khetasarai SO said that there had been a fight between the brothers over the distribution of land. During this three people were injured. Those who were admitted to the district hospital. where one died. The body has been sent for post-mortem, further action is being taken.
