Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : Demanded to get rid of foul smell rising from Sheeshambada plant

Pachhwadoon Joint Sangharsh Samiti protested against Sheeshambada Waste Management Plant. The committee officials raised slogans against the government and the plant and demanded to get rid of the foul smell emanating from the plant. The agitators said that the agitation would continue till the plant was not shifted elsewhere. On Wednesday morning, the committee officials gathered at the gate of the plant. During this, the officials along with the government administration team inspected the plant. During the inspection, the officers got angry after seeing the disorder in the plant. Enraged by the poisonous odor emanating from the plant, the officials gathered at the gate and demonstrated against the government. The officials raised slogans accusing the government of ignoring them. Committee President Chaitanya Anil Gaur said that the foul smell and filth emanating from the plant is taking a toll on the health and environment of the public. The government administration is ignoring the local people. Which the committee will not tolerate under any circumstances. Said that if the government does not take steps to shift the plant soon, then the committee will be forced to intensify the agitation. Officials and activists like Raj Gangsari, Premlal Kothari, Arun Kumar, Raisingh, Prem Singh Negi, Jagdish Pal, Jitendra Gupta, Sapna Sharma, Bina Bamrada etc. were present among those who demonstrated.
