Seed bomb successful effort to protect, enhance and balance the environment: Sharma
On the occasion of Harela, Padmashree Premchand Sharma and colleagues organized plantation and seed bomb campaign program at Gomukh Complex Vikas Nagar. Padamshree Premchand Sharma, the chief guest who arrived in the program, appreciated the seed bomb campaign and said that such efforts are very important for environmental protection and maintaining balance. Padmashree Sharma also shared many interesting incidents related to his life. Swarchit Maati and other poems were presented. Teacher Suraksha Rawat explained in detail about the seed bomb campaign. He said that under this program, the campaign for water and environment conservation is going on for the last four years with the help of school children and other teachers. According to Rawat, children are encouraged to make seed bombs in a playful manner, connecting it with art, science and environmental subjects. By mixing cow dung and soil, seeds of vegetables, pulses and fruits are put in small balls and kept in a moist place. Which germinates after a few days and takes the form of a plant. On this occasion the organizers of the program Suresh Rawat, Rajkumar Jain, campaign leader Dwarka Prasad Semwal, Bina Rawat, Sangeeta Nautiyal, Sushma Tomar, Deepak Chauhan, Shashwat Rawat, Sharmanand Bijalvan etc. were present.
