Shootout 3: Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen in the lead role in Gang Wars of Bombay

The films of the Shootout franchise have left a huge impact on the audience. The third film of this franchise was announced last year. In March, it was reported that the third film of the Shootout franchise has been titled Shootout 3: Gang Wars of Bombay. The film will be based on the 1992 JJ Hospital shootout case. Now news is coming out that actor Aditya Roy Kapur can be seen in the lead role in this film.

According to the report, Aditya may be seen in the lead role in Sanjay’s Shootout 3: Gang Wars of Bombay. A source said, “It seems that Malang star Aditya is in demand for action films. Right after the film Malang, he has signed Om: The Battle Within. It is heard that the makers of the Shootout franchise have roped in Aditya to lead the next project.

No specific information has been shared regarding Aditya’s role. Viewers will be eager to see Aditya in the next installment of this franchise. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai fame Rajat Arora will write the screenplay of the film. This film of the shootout franchise will also be full of action like his previous films.

On July 26, 1992, Mumbai gangster Arun Gawli’s brother-in-law Ibrahim Parkar was killed by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s brother-in-law. It was alleged that Arun killed Ibrahim in retaliation for the murder of his brother. To take revenge, Dawood’s gang attacked two assailants Shailesh Haldankar and Bipin Shere, who were admitted to JJ Hospital. Haldankar was killed in the firing and Bipin was injured. Two policemen were also killed.

The first film of this franchise was Shootout at Lokhandwala released in 2007. In this, veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi were seen acting. At the same time, the second film of this series, Shootout at Wadala was released in 2013. It featured John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The film was based on the first encounter on 1 November 1982 by the Mumbai Police.

Talking about Aditya’s workfront, he is busy in many film projects. He is in discussion about Kapil Verma’s film Om The Battle Within. Apart from this, he can also be seen in Vardhan Ketkar’s film Thadam. Famous actress Mrunal Thakur will be seen with him in this. It will be a Hindi remake of a Tamil film. He may also make an appearance in Mohit Suri’s Malang 2. Disha Patani will be seen with him in this.
