The CPI(M) district committee staged a sit-in at Aryanagar Chowk, blaming the policies of the central and state government for the rising inflation, unemployment, economic slowdown, plight of health services in the country. CPI(M) workers said that due to skyrocketing inflation and unemployment, the life of the middle class and poor people has been made difficult. Addressing the gathering at the protest site, CPIM District Minister RC Dhiman said that since the formation of the Modi government at the Center, the people of the country and the state are facing the ill effects of the policies being adopted by the Central Government. Due to the increase in the prices of LPG, diesel, petrol, mustard oil, food items, vegetables etc., the people of the country are suffering due to unemployment. He demanded that the government should take immediate steps to check rising inflation and unemployment. Soon, an agitation will be organized to demand investigation of corruption in Kumbh Mela construction works and Kovid 19 RTPCR test and action against the culprits.
