Angry people thrashed fiercely on the spot when the car rider was drunk
The bike rider was injured in a collision between a car and a bike on Saturday afternoon at Laxmanpur Chowk in the main market under Kotwali area. People took the injured to the sub-district hospital for treatment. It is being told that the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol, due to which angry people thrashed him fiercely at the spot itself. During this, the market was jammed for about 15 minutes. However, no complaint has been lodged with the police on either side. According to the information received, Inder Singh, a resident of Jagthan-Chakrata was coming on a bike from Jeevangarh at around three o’clock on Saturday afternoon. A car going from the main market side hit the bike at Laxmanpur Chowk. Due to which the bike rider fell on the road. The collision was so strong that the helmet jumped from the head of the youth and hanged on the tree. As soon as the accident happened, a crowd of nearby people gathered at the spot. People took the injured youth to the hospital. During this, some people dragged the car driver out of the car. It is being told that the driver of the car was intoxicated. The people present on the spot thrashed the car driver fiercely. However, the bike rider suffered minor injuries in the accident, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital. The youth’s bike is completely damaged. On the other hand, market outpost in-charge Arjun Singh Gusain told that Cheetah police personnel had reached the spot after getting information about the accident. So far no complaint has been filed from either side.
