Uttarakhand / Champawat: Movement of small and heavy vehicles will be restricted

The movement of small and heavy vehicles will be affected in Champawat city on Friday. During this, the movement of these vehicles will be done through Laluvapani-Banalekh and GIC bypass. The movement of roadways buses will be free from this rule.

Due to the counting of votes on Friday, the police have diverted the route of vehicles in Champawat. SP Devendra Pincha said that heavy vehicles coming from Lohaghat and Pithoragarh will go to Tanakpur via Laluvapani-Banalekh road. Whereas small vehicles will go to Tanakpur by GIC Tiraha-FCI Godown-Ara Machine. The movement of heavy vehicles going from Tanakpur to Pithoragarh will also be done through this route. Small vehicles going from Tanakpur to Pithoragarh will go through Banlekh-Lluvapani-Bhairwa Tiraha-Chhatar. The movement of vehicles going from Lohaghat to Haldwani will be via Devidhura. Apart from this, space has been earmarked for parking of vehicles. For the counting of votes, the parking of private vehicles coming from Lohaghat will be done in the ground near Seahawk Hotel.
