Uttarakhand : 3 people died due to cloudburst in Uttarkashi, CM expressed grief

Instructions given to make available the permissible assistance amount to the disaster affected without any delay

Expressing grief over the incident of cloudburst in village Nirakot, Kankaradi, Mando under Uttarkashi district on Sunday evening, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami prayed to God to grant peace to the souls of the deceased and patience to the bereaved families. Is. As soon as the Chief Minister came to know about it on Sunday evening, talking to the District Magistrate, Uttarkashi over phone, inquired about the incident. He directed the district administration to make relief and rescue work on top priority. The Chief Minister said that the permissible assistance amount should be made available to the affected without any delay. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed all the District Magistrates to remain alert in view of the excessive rainfall occurring at various places in the state. He asked to ensure quick response in case of any divine calamity.
CM inspected the State Emergency Operation Center
The Chief Minister also conducted a surprise inspection of the State Emergency Operation Center located at the Secretariat on Monday. The Chief Minister inquired about the damage caused by excessive rains in the state. The Chief Minister directed the officers and personnel on duty in the State Disaster Operation Center to keep a constant vigil on the disaster situation in the state. Any incident related to the disaster should be immediately reported to the higher authorities. Quick response should be ensured in case of disaster. Secretary Disaster Management Shri SA Murugesan and other officers were present on the occasion.
