Himachal Pradesh : The state government will protect the interests of the employees : Chief Minister

The State Government is committed to the welfare of the employees of the State and the reasonable demands of the employees have been fulfilled from time to time. This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the delegation of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Union, who came under the leadership of President Ashwani Thakur to meet him in the meeting today.

The Chief Minister said that employees are the backbone of any government and play an important role in the effective implementation of the policies and programs of the state government. He said that employees are the pillars of any government on whose shoulders it is the responsibility of implementing the policies of the government.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the employees have played an important role in effective management of COVID-19 in the state. He said that despite the Corona pandemic, the State Government has ensured that the employees get the due allowances from time to time. He thanked the employees of the state for standing by the state government even during the crisis of corona epidemic.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government would soon hold a meeting with the employees so that they could get an opportunity to raise their issues with the Government. He assured the union that the state government would try to amicably redress the genuine issues of the employees as the government wanted to maintain cordial relations with the employees.

Jai Ram Thakur urged the employees to work with dedication and commitment so that Himachal Pradesh could be made a model state of the country. He assured the union members that the interests of the employees would be protected as they were an integral part of the government.

President of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Union, Ashwani Thakur assured the Chief Minister that full cooperation would be provided to them by the employees to ensure all-round and balanced development in the state. He also urged the Chief Minister to convene a meeting of JCC so that the employees can place their various issues and demands before the government.

Union General Secretary Rajesh Sharma also expressed his views on the occasion. Karsog MLA Hira Lal and other Sangh leaders were also present on the occasion.
