India’s top four batsmen scored runs

All four of India’s top-order batsmen scored fiercely in the second innings, due to which the Indian team declared their second innings at 192 for three and set a very difficult target of 284 runs to win in front of County Select XI, chasing the hosts. The team scored 31 runs in their second innings without losing any wicket and the three-day warm-up match ended in a draw on the last day on Thursday.

In India’s second innings, Mayank Agarwal scored 47 runs in 81 balls with the help of seven fours. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 38 runs in 58 balls with the help of five fours, while Hanuma Vihari took full advantage of the opportunity in the second innings, 43 runs in 105 balls with three fours and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored 51 runs in 77 balls with the help of four fours and a six and retired after completing his half-century. Deepak Chahar remained unbeaten on six runs.

Chasing the target, County Select XI scored 31 runs without losing any wicket. Jake Libby 17 and Haseeb Hamid remained unbeaten on 13. Earlier in the morning, County Select XI started playing ahead of 220 runs for nine wickets in the morning. Avesh Khan did not play and the innings of the hosts ended on 220 runs. India had scored 311 runs in their first innings and took a huge lead of 91 runs.
