According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 74 at 8.40 pm.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, during July 22 to 24, there may be good rain in the eastern and adjoining parts of central India. Heavy rains can be seen in Telangana, South Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. The west coast will see heavy to very heavy rains in the next 2 to 3 days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall alert at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Coastal & South Interior Karnataka on July 24 in Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa.
