Manjeet Kaur, mother of Indian hockey team captain Manpreet Singh, gave her blessings and best wishes to the Indian hockey team and other players participating in the Tokyo Olympics at a glittering sports event organized by the Surjeet Hockey Society just before the inauguration of the Tokyo Olympics.
Iqbal Singh Sandhu, general secretary of Surjit Hockey Society and head P.R.O. Revealing this, Surinder Singh Bhapa said that in a special sports function organized at the local Surjit Hockey Stadium, Manjeet Kaur, the mother of Indian hockey team captain Manpreet Singh, had requested Surjeet Hockey Society to wish the Indian hockey team good performance in the Tokyo Olympics. Addressing a large gathering of members, all the players of Surjit Hockey Academy, their parents and coaches said that today he was very happy to come to Surjeet Hockey Academy because his son Manpreet Singh after learning hockey from the same Surjit Hockey Academy, he Today he is captaining the Indian hockey team in the Tokyo Olympics and is also leading the Olympic contingent holding the Indian flag.

Earlier, the players waved hockey sticks and tricolor flags, showered flowers and gave a warm welcome to Mata Manjeet Kaur. Later all the players and chief guest Manjeet Kaur cut the cake and wished Indian hockey the best in the Olympics. During this, Harjot Kaur, player of Surjit Hockey Academy also gave a wonderful speech to the hockey team.
