Naxalites burn 6 road construction vehicles in Jharkhand

Naxals torched six vehicles of a private road construction company in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district. According to the police, 10 to 12 armed Maoists raided the company’s camp office in Ghaghari village of Garhwa last evening. Beating up sleeping employees, putting diesel on vehicles engaged in road construction work and setting them on fire. The six vehicles include two road rollers and two JCBs. The reason for the attack is said to be the refusal to pay the levy to the rebels. A month ago, an engineer of the same company was kidnapped by Maoists.
