Strong earthquake strikes off Alaska coast, tsunami warning issued
A tsunami warning has been issued after a strong earthquake struck off the US coast of Alaska on Thursday.
The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 8.1 on the Richter scale. The US National Tsunami Warning Center wrote on Twitter, Tsunami Warning. An 8.1 magnitude earthquake was felt southeast of Chignik, Alaska.
Earlier, the US Geological Survey said that the tremors were felt at 06.15 minutes. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 3.4 km from the ground surface. There is no report of any loss of life or property in this accident.
