Fiscal deficit up to 18.2 percent of annual estimate till June

In the current financial year till June, the government’s fiscal deficit has been Rs 2.74 lakh crore, which is 18.2 percent of the budget estimate for the whole year. According to the monthly data released by the Finance Ministry here today, the total revenue receipt of the government stood at Rs 5.47 lakh crore while the expenditure stood at Rs 821644 crore.

In this way, the fiscal deficit of the government has been Rs 2.74 lakh crore.
