The newly constructed “Panchtantra Van” at Raj Bhavan was inaugurated today by the lotus feet of Governor Anandiben Patel in the loving presence of the officers, employees, families and children domiciled in the Raj Bhavan premises. Through the stories of Panchatantra composed by Pandit Vishnukant in “Panchatantra Van”, a unique display of the life-style and environment of mutual companionship, harmony, symbiosis and adventure development of wildlife, which is directly related to human life. It is worth mentioning that ‘ Panchatantra Van’ has been constructed by UP CIDCO. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary of Forest Department Manoj Singh, Managing Director of SIDCO Shri Shiv Prasad, Chief Conservator of Forests Shri RK Singh, Superintending Engineer CIDCO Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad and Executive Engineer Shri Chandrashekhar Niranjan among others. The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel today inaugurated the Krishi Vigyan Kendra affiliated to Chandrashekhar Azad Agricultural and Technological University, Kanpur, administrative building of Lakhimpur, Firozabad and Farmers Training Auditorium of Dalip Nagar, Kanpur Dehat from Raj Bhavan, Lucknow today. On this occasion, he said that with the introduction of these, scientists will be able to do the work related to training and technology transfer easily, which will benefit the farmers of the district. By creating new self-employment, employment opportunities will also be created by making maximum use of the resources available at the village level. He said that after getting training and knowledge from the integrated farming system established at the centers, besides being successful in doubling the farmer’s income, he can get maximum income by growing different crops per unit area. The Governor directed the agricultural experts posted in Krishi Vigyan Kendras to perform agricultural demonstrations on the basis of latest researches in their agricultural fields and also participate in the farmers so that farmers can get acquainted with the latest agricultural researches and techniques and make good use of it in their fields. You will be able to increase your income. The Chancellor said that today there is a record production of food grains in the country. Due to increasing industrialization the land has decreased. But due to the hard work of the farmers of the country and the latest researches obtained from the advanced varieties of seeds, farming equipments and modern techniques of farming, record production of food grains has been achieved in the country. He said that the Central Government has made many schemes to provide proper benefits to the farmers for their hard work and they are also being implemented. He appealed to the agricultural universities to help them in taking every scheme to the farmers. This will open up through agricultural development as well as prosperity of our rural area. Along with this, local employment opportunities will also develop there.

The Chancellor said that the farmers who prepare organic farming products should be given proper place in the market so that farmers can sell their products to more and more customers and more and more people can buy and use organic farming products. He said that many schemes are being run by the government for promoting organic farming. Agricultural University and Krishi Vigyan Kendra certification of organic produce should also be done. The Governor said that the farmers should pay attention to the cultivation of fruits and vegetables along with the crops of paddy, wheat, mustard.
