Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami handed over housing acceptance letters to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana-Rural
Housing acceptance letter given to 16472 beneficiaries in Uttarakhand
After the construction of the house, the Chief Minister announced to give five thousand rupees to every beneficiary for goods etc.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over the housing acceptance letters to the identified beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Rural. The Chief Minister released the first installment amount to the beneficiaries of the state online through DBT in a program organized at the Janta Darshan Hall located in the CM Camp office premises. He distributed housing acceptance letters to more than a hundred people in the program.
The government is working as a partner
The Chief Minister announced that under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, the beneficiaries of the state would be given five thousand rupees each for goods etc. after the houses are built. He said that the state government was working as a partner and not as a government with the motto of Sabka Saath- Sabka Vikas- Sabka Vishwas.
Prime Minister took the benefits of the schemes to the poor
The Chief Minister said that the schemes of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are directly benefitting the last person standing in the society. Earlier schemes were made but its benefits did not reach the eligible people. But with foresight, the Prime Minister first opened accounts in the Jan Dhan Yojana for all and now the amount of the scheme is being given directly to the beneficiary through DBT in those accounts. Crores of Indians have benefited from schemes like Swachh Bharat Mission, Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi etc.
Development is getting momentum in Uttarakhand with the help of the Center
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has a special attachment to Uttarakhand. Many important developmental schemes are going on in the state with the help of the central government. Unprecedented work has been done in the field of roads. Soon you will be able to go from Dehradun to Delhi in just two hours. Development is getting a new impetus from the Char Dham project, Bharatmala project. The railways have expanded a lot. The work on Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail is progressing rapidly. The Center has been requested to conduct survey of Tanakpur-Bageshwar on broad gauge.
Everyone will get clean drinking water from Jaljeevan Mission
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Jal Jeevan Mission is a very important scheme. In this, we are working on providing water from tap to every house. In the state, only one rupee is providing water connection to the rural houses. Every person should get clean water and the government is working in that direction.
Atal Ayushman Yojana to be made more practical
The Chief Minister said that the Ayushman Yojana launched by the Prime Minister is the biggest health scheme in the world. In Uttarakhand every person has been covered in it. Instructions have been given to the officials to implement the scheme in a more practical manner so that every poor can easily take advantage of it. The Chief Minister said that we are working on making Uttarakhand a world famous tourism state by 2027. The state government is giving relief to the people affected by COVID. Chardham is giving a package of about 200 crores for the people associated with travel and tourism. Similarly, a package of 205 crores is being given for the health sector and health workers. The recruitment process will be started on 24 thousand government vacancies in the state. The Chief Minister said that in view of Corona, one year age relaxation has been provided to unemployed youth in recruitment. Whereas the youth who have passed the preliminary examination of NDA, CDS, Public Service Commission will be given an amount of 50 thousand for the preparation of the main examination. The target of complete vaccination of COVID has been taken in the next four months.
Congratulating the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, Cabinet Minister Swami Yatheeswaranand said that the selection of beneficiaries has been done with complete transparency. The assistance amount is being transferred by DBT to the account of the beneficiaries. He directed the officers to continuously monitor and spread the benefits of the scheme to other eligible people.
Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami are working for the youth, women, poor and weaker sections of the people. It is being ensured that the benefits of the schemes reach every needy one.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Rural Phase 2
Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Manisha Panwar informed that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin was launched in the year 2016. The objective of which is to provide pucca housing with basic facilities to all the homeless, kutcha and dilapidated families living in dilapidated houses. In the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, a total of 94286 families who were left out from being included in the eligibility list of housing in the SECC-2011 survey have been identified through Awas Plus. Out of which after removing 29142 ineligible families, at present a total of 65144 families in the state have been found eligible for PMAY-G. In which total 2865 families are landless (Dehradun 102, Haridwar 42, Nainital 68, Pithoragarh-3, Udham Singh Nagar-2662).
A total of 16472 houses have been allocated to the state by the Government of India in the second phase from the housing plus list, including 13399 target for the financial year 2020-2021 and 3073 target for the financial year 2021-2022.In which total 2865 families are landless (Dehradun 102, Haridwar 42, Nainital 68 Pithoragarh 3, Udham Singh Nagar 2662).
The state will need Rs.226.99 crore to fulfill the above targets of 16472 houses. Relative to which, for the target 13399 of the financial year 2020-21 by the Government of India, at the rate of Rs.60,000/-, the first installment will be Rs.35.39 crore and the state share will be Rs. A total of Rs.39.32 crore including Rs.3.93 crore has been released. Presently the past balance at the state level is Rs. 47.74 crore and the above released Rs. 39.32 crore including a total of Rs. 87.06 crore is available. Which is being released online in the account of the beneficiaries. The amount of the second installment will be transferred to the account of the beneficiaries soon.
Grant amount of 1 lakh 30 thousand per house
Additional Secretary and Commissioner Rural Development Ms. Vandana informed that 130,000.00 per house grant is admissible for construction of new houses under PMY-G. Which is paid in three installments i.e. first installment Rs. 60,000, second installment Rs. 40,000 and third installment Rs. 30,000 which is paid online directly to the eligible beneficiary’s bank account. Apart from this, the beneficiary of MNREGA will get Rs. At the rate of 204, a total of Rs 19.380/- can be obtained and Rs. 12,000/- can be obtained. Along with this, the beneficiary can also get the facility of drinking water facility, Ujjwal gas connection, electricity connection.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Rural First Phase
Giving information about the first phase, it was informed that 12662 families found eligible in SECC survey 2011 have been allotted houses, out of which a total of Rs. 169.87 crore has been spent. Land lease and housing have been allotted to all 539 landless families in the first phase. In the first phase, through convergence, the beneficiary family received a total of Rs. 1510.68 lakh has been spent. Along with this, Rs. 12,000/- totaling Rs. 14.91 crore has been spent. Apart from this, a total of 3920 families have been provided with Ujjwala gas connection under convergence. Drinking water facility has been provided to total 8113 beneficiaries and electricity connection facility has been provided to total 7733 beneficiaries.
