Uttarakhand CM Dhami flags off Covid relief material provided by 127 Battalion Territorial Army Garhwal Rifles
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the COVID relief material provided by Additional Director General Territorial Army General Gulab Singh Rawat at 127 Eco Battalion, Garhi Cantt. This Covid relief material for remote areas of the state was arranged by 127 Battalion Territorial Army Garhwal Rifles through various NGOs. Under Kovid relief material, oxygen concentrator, oxygen cylinder, pulse oximeter, mask, sanitizer, and food items were made available. Expressing gratitude to 127 Battalion Territorial Army Garhwal Rifles, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our army has a history of indomitable courage and valor. We sleep peacefully because of our soldiers. Even in the time of Kovid, the army provided services in many ways. The Chief Minister said that now the pension of World War II veterans and veterans will be increased from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month. On passing the NDA and CDS examination, depending on the financial condition of the family, the candidate will be given financial assistance of 50 thousand rupees for the preparation of the interview. JOC Sub Area Major General Mr. Sandeep Khatri, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Abhinav Kumar and army officers were present on this occasion.
