Uttarakhand : MLA Pundir told the CM’s problems

Vikas Nagar : Sahaspur MLA Sahdev Pundir has met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and demanded the deployment of employees at the earliest to solve the problems of the local residents for not forming the administrative structure in the newly formed Nagar Panchayat Selakui. The MLA told the CM that due to lack of administrative structure for the last six years, besides the development work being affected here, the public is also facing many problems personally.

On Tuesday, MLA Pundir told the CM that the East Hope Town Gram Panchayat, including the industrial area Selakui, was given the status of Nagar Panchayat six years ago, but this status was revoked after the order of the court. After which the notification of many Nagar Panchayats was issued, but every time it had to be canceled. Three months ago, on the order of the court, the status of Nagar Panchayat of Selakui town has been restored. But till now, due to lack of administrative structure of the body, the population of about thirty thousand is facing problems every day. Local people have to make rounds of many offices for making birth, death, income certificates. While the benefits of many government schemes are also not available to the local people. Told that the eligible families are deprived of the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Social Welfare Department’s schemes. In view of the problems of the local people, the MLA has demanded the formation of administrative structure in Selakui Nagar Panchayat at the earliest.
