In Mussoorie, a meeting and honor ceremony were organized in the auditorium of Mussoorie Gandhi Chowk Gurdwara under the Congress Women’s Congress. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest of the program, Mahila Congress National General Secretary Anupama Rawat, while women performing better in various fields and performing in the field of education were felicitated. National General Secretary of Mahila Congress Anupama Rawat was welcomed by Mahila Congress President Jasveer Kaur with a bouquet and a sal. Jasbir Kaur said that the Mahila Congress in Mussoorie has encouraged the women of Mussoorie and the students who have excelled in social work and studies in various fields. Anupama Rawat said that she appreciated the social and political work being done by Mussoorie Mahila Congress President Jasbir Kaur. She said that the work being done by women in the field is commendable in itself and women are better than men. Standing equal and working for the betterment of the society. On this occasion, Anupama Rawat also attacked the BJP government of Uttarakhand saying that BJP gives the slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao but no work has ever been done for the upliftment of daughters. The double engine government of the state has completely failed. The BJP has done the work of giving three chief ministers, not development to the state, while the people of the state had given a stable government by giving full majority, but the BJP was busy only in changing the chief minister. He said that in 2022, the people of the state are going to answer the BJP and form the Congress government so that the state can develop and work for a better future for the women and youth.
