Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : 5 cases came on Tehsil day, resolved on one occasion

The Tehsil Day, postponed for a year due to the Corona period, was organized on Tuesday. Five cases related to social welfare, revenue etc. departments came in this. A public problem was resolved on the spot. While other cases were forwarded to the concerned departments for action. Due to lack of publicity, the complainants rarely reached. Tehsil Diwas started at 11 am on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Dr. Amrita Sharma. Officers of Energy Corporation, Labor Department, Municipal Corporation, Supply Department, Social Welfare, PWD, Child Development Project Department were present. The departmental officers kept waiting for the complainants to hear the problems of the people. Only five people reached with public problems. The Tehsildar, while listening to the public problems, resolved one on the spot. Naib Nazir Sunil Bhatt told that in five cases, 2 belonged to social welfare, one from PWD, one child development project, one from revenue department. The problem related to the Revenue Department was resolved. Registrar Kanungo Pramod Kumar, Naib Tehsildar Vijaypal Singh, Supply Inspector Vijay Doval, Assistant Social Welfare Officer Mahesh Pratap, SNA Vinod Lal, Patwari Rizwan etc. were present on the occasion.
