MG Motor and Jio partner for connected car solution
Passenger vehicle manufacturer MG Motor India today announced a partnership with digital services provider Jio to provide best-in-class connected car technology.
Consolidating its position as the auto-tech pioneer, MG Motor India will provide seamless integration of IT systems enabled by Jio’s IoT solution in its upcoming mid-size SUV, the company said in a statement here. This partnership will enable robust new-age mobility solutions, underscoring the carmaker’s passion for creating futuristic mobility applications and facilitating magical experiences.
It said that Jio will support a wide range of automotive solutions designed to provide Customers of MG’s mid-size SUV will benefit from Jio’s internet outreach along with high-speed connectivity, not only in metros but also in smaller towns and rural areas. Jio’s new-age connected vehicle solution is a combination of hardware, software and connectivity that enables users to access trending infotainment and real-time telematics for moving vehicles and people, and brings the benefits of digital life to them.
