Instructions for wide publicity of the scheme of free treatment of TB patients and creation of accurate database of tuberculosis patients

In the meeting of District TB Forum and HIV Committee, DM Eva Srivastava directed to prepare a surveillance action plan on mission mode for wide publicity of the scheme of free treatment of TB patients. Instructions were also given to create an accurate database of tuberculosis patients. In the meeting, DM Eva said that while coordinating with the DPRO for the scheme of treatment of tuberculosis patients, it should be given wide publicity in the open meeting of the Health Department, Gram Sabhas. In the meeting, Dr. Manoj Verma told that the objective of setting up TB Forum of the Government of India is to make the country TB free by 2025. He said that 387 patients have been found in the district in 2020. In which 47 patients are of MDR, who have to continue treatment for 2 years. While there are 5 patients who are HIV positive along with tuberculosis. TB Champions JP Bhatt, Sunder Lal Uniyal and Shakti Prasad Badoni were also present in the meeting. These people have become completely healthy after taking treatment from the government system. CDO Namami Bansal, DDO Sunil Kumar, CMO Dr Sanjay Jain, DSTO Nirmal Kumar Shah, President of RADS Sanstha Sushil Bahuguna, Rajpal Mian etc. were present in the meeting.
