Sonam Kapoor charged Rs 11 for ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in his autobiography ‘The Stranger in the Mirror’ has told about Sonam Kapoor’s fees for his film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. The two had earlier worked together in Delhi 6. After that both worked together in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Sonam Kapoor did not have a big role in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag but her appearance was praised. Rakesh has written in his book that Sonam Kapoor had agreed to play the character of Biro in the film. For this he had charged only Rs 11.

Rakesh has told that whenever Sonam used to come on screen, she used to leave an impression. Sonam Kapoor has special memories related to the film. She used to say that I was a tadka in the film.

Leading actresses do not play such characters in today’s time. Rakesh praised Sonam a lot and wrote – Sonam understood that this film is not a love story.
He said that he had a special appearance in the film and had decided to charge Rs 11. We both had a good journey earlier in Delhi 6. He shot for only 7 days. In which the songs Mera Yaar and O Rangrez are included.
