Taliban warns US against interference in Afghanistan affairs
The Taliban has warned the US against interfering in Afghanistan’s affairs. Taliban spokesman told this to Al Jazeera.
The US carried out airstrikes on Taliban targets in Sheberghan, the capital of Afghanistan’s Jawzjan province, with a B-52 Stratofortress plane, killing more than 200 militants. A Taliban spokesman said, “We are warning against US interference in Afghanistan.”
Taliban attacks in the country have increased since the beginning of the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. The withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan is likely to be completed by September 11.
