Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Indian women’s hockey player Vandana Kataria at her residence in Roshnabad, Haridwar and congratulated her on Vandana’s stellar performance in the Tokyo Olympics. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented a check of Rs 25 lakh to Vandana Kataria. The Chief Minister also honored Vandana Kataria with the Tilu Rauteli Award on the occasion. Under this, he was given a check of Rs 31 thousand and a citation. Vandana Kataria has also been made the brand ambassador of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign under women empowerment.

The daughter of Uttarakhand made her own identity by making a hat-trick in a match. He inspired Vandana to continue playing with the same morale.
