The meeting of District Water and Sanitation Mission was held in the district auditorium under the chairmanship of DM Eva Srivastava. In the meeting, while reviewing the works being done by Jal Sansthan, Jal Nigam and Hans Foundation under Jal Jeevan Mission in the villages of the district, the DM directed to prepare the DPR immediately for the works to be done under Part-2 of this mission. In the meeting, the DM instructed the officials of Jal Sansthan and Jal Nigam that in the villages of the district allotted to Hans Foundation, where the work of Jal Jeevan Mission is not being done by Hans Foundation due to some reasons, both the departments should coordinate with each other. work. Directed the line departments to complete the DPR of drinking water of all the villages by the month of September. On which the departments were informed that the DPRs of most of the villages have been prepared. DM instructed that the villages whose DPR has been prepared and whose DPR has not been prepared yet. Their reports should be made available separately immediately. In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed that care should also be taken that no family should remain without water in any revenue village. If no family is residing in any village, it was there in the past, then the data of such villages should also be presented separately. So that those villages can be removed from the list by getting those villages checked through the sub-district magistrates. In the meeting, the DM also directed that the rain harvesting tanks made under MNREGA should not be connected to the drinking water line. Because rain harvesting tanks are designed for rainwater harvesting. Some people are filling the rain harvesting tanks by connecting to the drinking water line, which is not proper. He said that if any person or family is found doing this, then appropriate action should be taken against him. The DM directed the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Block Development Officer to continuously inspect in this regard. CDO Namami Bansal, PD Anand Singh Bhakuni, SE Jal Nigam Imran Ahmed, CEO SP Semwal, DEO Basic SS Bisht, EE Jal Sansthan Satish Nautiyal, Naresh Pal, EE Jal Nigam Alok Kumar and EE Rajesh Singh were present in the meeting.
