Rupee rose one paisa

The rupee strengthened by a paisa to 74.25 per dollar in the interbanking currency market today on expectations of increased foreign exchange inflows due to the domestic stock market reaching new highs with pressure on the dollar against the world’s major currencies.
The rupee was at 74.26 per dollar in the previous session.
Rupee today fell by a paisa to open at Rs 74.27 per dollar. During the session, it fell to a low of Rs 74.32 per dollar, but on the strength of strong support from the stock market, it rose to a high of Rs 74.24 per dollar. In the end, it rose by a paisa to Rs 74.25 per dollar compared to the previous day.
