21 killed in road accident in Nigeria
At least 21 people have been killed when a bus and truck rammed into a broken culvert in the northern Nigerian state of Jigawa. Police spokesman Lawan Shisu said the accident occurred on Sunday near Radabi village in the state’s Guaram local government area when both vehicles rammed into a broken culvert covered by flood waters. He said that today at 6 am we got a phone call from Radabi village that a road accident had happened on Guaram-Basirka road.
He said that the death of 21 passengers in the accident has been confirmed by a local doctor who reached the spot after the incident. One passenger has survived in this accident. He said that the police is probing the matter.
