Message of SDRF (Uttarakhand Police) Jawan Rajendra Singh Nath, scaled Mount Elburst
Jai Hind . 🙏 Me SDRF (Uttarakhand Police) Jawan Rajendra Singh Nath has scaled the highest peak of Europe continent, Mount Elbrus (5642 m).
On 12th August, Rajendra Nath along with other members of his team reached Elbrus Base Camp via MRV, AZAU from Moscow, the capital of Russia located in Europe Mahadeep, due to non-receipt of window on 13,14 and 15 by the Meteorological Department (weather was not favorable for mountaineering). On getting information about the weather being very bad, the team leader trusted me and sent another Indian climber (Sharad Kulkarni 59 years Maharashtra) with 8 member joint team. Departed from camp, as the weather got worse the temperature reached -20, visibility was very low, cold wind was blowing at about 70-90 km/h, also very heavy It was snowing. It was decided by a lady member of the team to leave the mission midway, but I along with my other brave members went ahead overcoming all the obstacles and finally at 09:40 am (Europe time) And at 12:10 minutes according to Indian time), history has been created by conquering this highest peak of Europe continent. Our team here including me is highly appreciated for showing courage in this team (360 explorer). Other team members are waiting for the season to open. I will also attempt the summit again when I get the window, which if successful will be the world record for the first two successful ascents of Mount Elbrus by a policeman.
Jai Hind🇮🇳 Happy Independence Day.
