Rahul congratulates Lakheda and Kathuria on winning the medal

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has congratulated Avani Lakheda for winning the gold medal and Yogesh Kathuria for winning the silver medal in shooting in the Tokyo Para Olympic event. Gandhi tweeted, “The morning started with great news. Many congratulations to Avani Lakheda for winning the gold medal. India’s second daughter has brought glory to the country.

Congratulating Yogesh Kathuria, he said, “Congratulations to Yogesh Kathuria on winning a medal in the Tokyo Para Olympics. The nation is proud of your inspirational achievement. It is worth mentioning that in Para Olympics, India’s Avani Lakheda has won gold medal in women’s 10m air rifle final and Yogesh Kathuria won silver medal in discus throw. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also congratulated both the players.
