A meeting of the COVID-19 Core Committee was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Annavi Dineshkumar. In the meeting, first of all, the COVID results of the last 24 hours were discussed. In the review of Kovid Vaccination, it was told that 1589 people have been vaccinated today, which includes 1053 people aged 18 to 44 years and 536 people above 60 years, it was also told that 27000 doses are going to be received from the government. But instructions were given to plan for the first dose as well as the second dose. In the review of power supply, it was told that 8 transformers are faulty which will be rectified in 48 hours. On this, the District Magistrate, expressing his displeasure, visited and instructed to do physical verification by staying in touch with the line men. In the review of drinking water supply, it was told that repair work has been done in the new township and Mehrauni area in the city, on which instructions were given to take immediate action as soon as the complaint is received. In reviewing the presently spreading fever cases, the Chief Medical Officer said that 112 cases have been found in the last 14 days, for this 574 teams have been constituted which will monitor the cases of fever. On this, the District Magistrate directed that in these cases, the list of cases of unknown fever should be made available, as well as clear information on the format given by the government in this regard. In the review of the oxygen plant, it was told that a panel has been installed for the establishment of the plant at Talbehat, where there is a problem of change over. Expressing displeasure over the clear information in the meeting, the District Magistrate directed all the medical officers to attend the meeting with clear information. Apart from this, directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer for the planning of sanitizing in rural areas.
