Instructions to increase non-tax revenue in the review meeting of development works

Divisional Commissioner / Officer-in-Charge Ajay Shankar Pandey reviewed the development works of the district in the meeting for effective monitoring of the development works of the district. First of all, in the review of illegal occupation/land mafia, it was told that this year 3053 complaints have been received, out of which 2349 cases have been disposed off, on which the Divisional Commissioner said that survey should be conducted on the lands of village society in the district. Take action under relevant sections against the land mafia who are found to be occupying the lands of the society. He directed that the Lekhpal should give a certificate that there is no illegal encroachment on the lands of the village society in his area. In review of complaints of illegal mining, it was told that in 14 cases, FIRs were registered. On which the Divisional Commissioner directed that on the complaints of illegal mining, strict action should be taken on priority basis with the cooperation of the Superintendent of Police. Regarding women empowerment, he said that the government is fully prepared for the empowerment of women, he said that the Superintendent of Police should take strict action in criminal incidents/cases against women. After this, the Divisional Commissioner reviewed the non-tax/revenue receipts, in which he directed the District Magistrate to call for clarification of the departments whose recovery is less. Also, review the pending revenue claims yourself. Apart from this, he also appointed Additional District Magistrate V./R. He directed that the revenue suits which have been disposed off should be implemented as soon as possible. In the review of construction works, it was told that 96.71 percent work has been completed against the construction/widening of 11 demands. On this, the Divisional Commissioner directed the Public Works Department to make available the report of the construction works pending in this financial year to the Chief Development Officer. After this, the review of drinking water supply was done, in which it was told that out of 1331 repairable hand pumps, 1243 have been repaired and out of 206 reborable, 156 hand pumps have been reburied. On this, the Divisional Commissioner directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer to get the report of the rebored hand pumps investigated, as well as make people aware of cleanliness in rural areas. In the review of distribution of food grains, it was informed that against total 267295 ration cards in the district, so far 91.35 percent of the card holders have been distributed food grains through Aadhaar authentication. On this, the Divisional Commissioner directed the District Supply Officer to give wide publicity to the welfare schemes being run by the government for the poor people at present. With this, he directed the District Social Welfare Officer that not a single child marriage should take place under the Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme. In the meeting, District Magistrate Annavi Dineshkumar, Superintendent of Police Nikhil Pathak, CDO Anil Kumar Pandey, ADM Judicial Rajnish Rai, ADM Namami Gange Lavkush Tripathi, DFO DN Singh, CMO Dr.G.P. Shukla all the Deputy District Magistrates and other district level officers were present.
