The second phase of the Congress’s Parivartan Yatra, being taken out for the preparations for the assembly elections, started from Haridwar. Parivartan Yatra will visit all the 11 assembly seats of the district for three days. The Modi government at the Center and the double engine government of Uttarakhand have completely failed to solve the problems of the people. The common man is suffering due to the skyrocketing inflation under the BJP rule. The prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, all food items have become out of reach for the common man. Youth are not getting employment. The youth of Uttarakhand are forced to migrate to other states in search of employment. Factories and public institutions established under Congress rule are being handed over to industrialists. Farmers across the country are protesting against the agricultural laws brought by the Modi government to fulfill the interests of industrialists. But the government is not ready to listen anything. Along with the Modi government at the Center, the double engine government of Uttarakhand has also failed completely. Due to the failure, the BJP had to change the chief minister thrice. Said that public expectations will be included in the Congress manifesto. By meeting the expectations of the people, Uttarakhand will be made corruption and women oppression free and giving employment. Former municipality president Satpal Brahmachari said that Dharmanagari is in the grip of drugs. Due to the sale of liquor and other intoxicants in the street, the younger generation is becoming a victim of drug addiction. During the tenure of twenty years, the local MLAs have completely failed to develop the area.
