Aishwarya Rai completes shooting of Ponniyin Selvan, film to release in 2022

The beauty and acting of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has made millions of people her admirers. Even though her activism in films has declined after marrying actor Abhishek Bachchan, her popularity hasn’t waned. He is in discussion about his upcoming Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan. Now information is coming out that Aishwarya has completed the shooting of this film. This film may release in 2022.

Aishwarya herself has told on her social media handle that she has finished shooting for this film. He has shared this information on his official Instagram handle. Aishwarya has shared a new poster of the film. This poster is getting good response from fans. It is written in the poster that this film is going to be released in the summer of 2022.

The title of the film has been kept as Ponniyin Selvan-1 in the poster shared by Aishwarya. This means that the first part of the film will release in the summer of 2022.

A source had said, the final schedule of the film was being wrapped in Pollachi, a town in Tamil Nadu, earlier this week.

Aishwarya had officially announced Ponniyin Selvan on 19 July. Mani Ratnam is directing the film. Aishwarya will return to the film industry after four years with the film. The film is based on the 1995 novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy. In the film, Aishwarya will be seen in the double role of Nandini and her mother Mandakini. In this, actors like Vikram, Trisha Krishna, Prakash Raj, Jairam Ravi and Aishwarya Lakshmi will be seen.

The film is based on the most powerful king of the South. The film will be made in a budget of Rs 500 crore. Aishwarya made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film Iruvar. After this both of them worked together in the film Guru and Raavan. After becoming a mother, Aishwarya had four films like Jazbaa, Sarabjit, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Fanney Khan. He did not perform well in any film except Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
