Bihar / Gopalganj : Uncontrollable Bolero crushed 6 people, 3 died
In the last night’s Panchayat elections in the Kateya police station area of Gopalganj district of Bihar, Bolero crushed six people while campaigning for the chief candidate. In this accident, three supporters of the chief candidate, who was seeking votes, died while three people are said to be injured.
According to the information received from the police, in the night the supporters of a chief candidate were out in the election campaign. It is alleged that in Kurmi Tola of Bhagwanpur Panchayat last night, the driver lost control of a Bolero involved in the election campaign and crushed six people involved in the election campaign.
Three people died in this incident while two to three people are said to be injured.
Hathua’s sub-divisional police officer said that the crashed Bolero has been confiscated. The deceased have been identified as Lal Bachchan Ram (28), resident of Mathia village under Kateya police station, Paras Giri (65) resident of Nimaiya village and Kapil Dev Singh (69) resident of Patohwa village.
He said that all the dead bodies have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem by the police while the injured have been referred to Gorakhpur Medical College for treatment. The police is trying to find out about the seized Bolero that people had come out in the night for campaigning for which chief candidate.
