Madhya Pradesh : Due to hard work and encouragement of family members, Jagriti has achieved splendid achievement in UPSC

Jagriti Awasthi, who secured the second position in the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2020 and first in the women’s category, says that due to hard work and encouragement from the family, she has been able to fulfill an important dream of her life. .

This splendid achievement has been recorded in the result declared by UPSC in the name of Bhopal resident Jagriti Awasthi. After this achievement, there was a gathering of media along with those congratulating them at Jagriti’s residence located at Shivaji Nagar.

Twenty-four-year-old Jagriti told that her dream from the very beginning was to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. He achieved this feat in his second attempt. Jagriti’s father Mr. SC Awasthi is a homeopathic doctor and her mother was a teacher by profession, who left the job to support her daughter in her studies. Jagriti’s brother is studying MBBS to become a doctor.

Buoyed by the success, Jagriti said that she completed her graduation in electrical engineering four years back from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) located here. After this he got an opportunity to serve in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) here. During this time he thought of making his dream come true by trying his luck in UPSC. He did not get success in the first attempt. Mother, brother and father encouraged Jagriti to work harder and also provided that environment in the house so that there would be no problem in her preparations.

Referring to the support of family members in its success, Jagriti said that even the use of TV in the house had become negligible and some member used to talk on the phone in such a way that there is no problem. Jagriti told that he had also moved to Delhi for coaching and after some time had to return to Bhopal due to COVID. Despite this, he did not let his enthusiasm dampen. Ten to twelve hours was given to study every day at home and as soon as the examination came near, the duration of study was increased and the result is in front of everyone’s prayers.
There has been an influx of congratulators at Jagriti’s house since yesterday. Relatives are also barely able to control their emotions while accepting the best wishes of those they meet.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, cabinet members, various politicians and their school and college teachers and colleagues also congratulated Jagriti and said that this achievement is also a matter of pride for the people of the state.
