Indefinite dharna of the students’ union is going on in the Government College Tuni regarding seat increase and other demands. Even on Sunday, the student union officials remained on indefinite dharna. Students union officials also raised slogans against the university administration and the state government, demanding the conduct of economics, arts, Sanskrit, etc. subjects in the arts faculty including seat increase in the first year and construction of a paved road to the college building. Student Union President Manoj Kumar said that the student union is continuously demanding seat increase from the college and university administration. But, the students are disappointed as there is no hearing. Due to the neglect of university administration and college administration, most of the students of the area are not getting seats in the college. He warned that until action is taken on the demands of the students, the students’ union’s protest will continue.
