Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Death of farmers is not accident but death

Angry over the death of three farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, farmers protested in Podowali village. Former Pradhan Sanjay Chaudhary said that the government is calling it an accident to cover up the death of farmers, while it is a case of clear murder. Alleged that the son of a BJP leader has trampled on the car and killed the farmers. He also demanded registration of a murder report in the case and recommending a CBI inquiry into it. Later, the farmers expressed their anger by burning an effigy of the UP government. Bachan Singh, Gagan Kumar, Ram Singh, Raghuveer Singh, Kanwarpal, Neeraj Kumar, Lokendra Singh, Yogesh Kumar, Ankul, Jasvir Singh, Ramkumar, Sonu, Saresh Kumar, Kalram etc. were among those who burnt the effigy.
