The patience of the tire factory workers, who were protesting against the terms of the three-year agreement, was answered on the thirteenth day. After the meeting of the office bearers of all the six unions of workers, four workers sat on a hunger strike unanimously.

One and a half thousand workers belonging to six trade unions of Luxor’s tire factory have been staging a sit-in at the factory gate since the evening of 23 September to protest against the terms of the three-year agreement. He also went on a gradual hunger strike for five days. They are demanding further increase in the salary hike given in the agreement, implementation of the agreement from January 1, giving arrears in the middle, making the RPW (Reserve Pool Worker) permanent, education allowance and Uttarakhand Day leave. . For 12 days, the factory management or labor department has not taken care of them. Angered by this, the office bearers of all the six unions held a meeting on Monday morning. In order to intensify the movement, it was unanimously decided to start a fast unto death. After this, Pankaj Sharma, Jaivindra Khatana, Sudhir Panwar and Pankaj Kumar Kehra started fast unto death at the dharna site itself. The workers announced to fight a cross-cutting battle with the factory management, saying that now either all their demands will be accepted, otherwise they will die from there. Ashok Kumar, Ramkumar, Kaptan Singh, Baldev Pal, Rajeev Kaushik, Govind Singh, Chainpal, Nishant Kumar, Sudhir Panwar, Ankit Nagar, Coefficient Tyagi, Thakur Vijay Singh, Jitendra Kumar, Virendra Singh, Sahipal, Avnish Sharma, Vijay Sharma at the picket site , Rakesh Kumar, Pravesh Kumar, Anchal Kumar, Sonu Kumar, Subhash Kumar, Amit Jha, Ravipal Singh, Mehkar Singh and many workers were present.
