Uttar Pradesh / Pithoragarh : Contract health worker troubled by departmental neglect

The contract health workers, who are struggling for the demand of salary and job restoration, are upset due to departmental neglect. We have appealed to the administrative officers, MLAs and other public representatives, but there is no one to take care of them. Employees are feeling cheated due to non-payment of salary after four months of service.

On Tuesday, contract health workers gathered at Ramlila Maidan in Takana. During this, he protested against the health department, shouting slogans. The personnel said that by taking out their work during the Corona period, the department has shown them the way out. Said he performed his duty continuously for four months, but he has also been deprived of his remuneration. Due to this, financial crisis has arisen in front of them. The workers have demanded from the department to adjust in NHM or TNM, remove the workers working 100 days in Kovid and not to cut 28 percent in salary. The workers said that if their demands were not met, they would launch a fierce agitation.
