Former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has emphasized on plantation. He said that it is necessary to plant a large number of trees to save the environment. On Tuesday, former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat planted saplings with the help of forest department in Mothrowala-Dudhli road area. He said that today there is a need for extensive plantation to reduce the increasing environmental pollution at the global level. Said that saplings of peepal, banyan and other species would be planted in every gram sabha from next year in association with various social organizations and local people. Along with this, people will also be made aware about tree plantation. Plantation was done in Mothrowala two years ago, today it has become a green forest. Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, former Minister of State Khem Singh Pal etc. were present on the occasion.
